Ribbons

Emrose has a wide range of globally available thermal transfer ribbons (TTR) to print on various substrates. We can help you ensure barcodes and text are clearly printed, improving batch identification, brand protection and consumer safety.

Wax

The lowest cost choice, they are ideal for general label applications such as address labels. However, wax ribbons are the softest ribbons making them vulnerable to smudging and scratching.

Wax Resin

Suitable if you are printing onto semi-gloss paper or synthetic labels, they combine wax and resin to make the ribbons smudge and smear resistant.

Resin

The hardest type of ribbon, being scratch and chemical resistant. Resin ribbons are the best choice for printing onto synthetic labels which will be going into harsh environments where the print needs to be resistant against scratching, smearing, liquid, chemicals and extreme temperatures.

Near Edge

Specifically designed for next-generation thermal transfer printing. They offer superior performance for creating crisp, clean, sharp-looking barcodes for a wider variety of substrate materials.

Colors & Metallics

We offer a full range of vivid and bold colors for wax, wax/resin and resin color thermal transfer ribbon applications. Emrose also offers metallic, silver, and gold.
